Your legs do a lot for you every day.
They carry you through commutes, long workdays, workouts, airports and everything in between. So when they finally get a chance to rest, why not give them a little help?
That's the idea behind air compression massage.
Unlike a massage gun or roller that works on specific points, an air compression leg massager uses inflatable chambers to gently work around different areas of the legs in a controlled sequence.
A wave of pressure that moves up the leg.
But what makes that useful?
The simple science behind air compression
Presso uses four inflatable chambers covering the foot, calf, knee and thigh.
The chambers fill and deflate in sequence, creating a progressive wave that moves from the lower leg upwards rather than squeezing the entire leg at once.
This sequential, one-directional design is what's known as intermittent compression — a rhythm rather than a single squeeze, built to work with the leg's natural upward flow rather than against it.
Why does the direction matter?
Your legs have one constant challenge: gravity.
Every time your heart sends blood down to your legs, your body has to work to bring it back up.
Your calf muscles help with this. When you walk, they contract and act like a natural pump, helping push blood upwards through the veins towards your heart. When you're sitting or standing still for long periods, that muscle pump isn't working as actively.
Presso adds gentle, sequential support around the leg while you rest — mirroring that same upward motion your body naturally relies on.
How is it different from other massagers?
Different massage technologies work in different ways.
Massage guns use targeted percussion, making them useful for specific muscles — but you have to hold and move them yourself.
Massage rollers work across particular areas and also require active movement.
Conventional electric leg massagers can be hands-free, but many are large, bulky machines designed to stay in one place.
Air compression takes a more encompassing approach. The chambers wrap around the leg, work across multiple areas and move progressively upwards — while the sleeves can simply be folded away when you're done.
Full-leg coverage. Hands-free use. No bulky machine taking over your space.
Why does it feel like a massage?
Instead of concentrating on one point, the chambers surround the leg, creating a gentle, rolling sensation that moves through the legs.
And because Presso manages the experience for you, there's nothing to hold, move or operate throughout the session.
Just put it on and sit back.
